While the high speeds of electric or speed pedelec bikes are convenient and fun, they are more dangerous than those on traditional bikes. It is, therefore, essential that the rider is better protected. With the Purl-Y bicycle helmet, you are well prepared for any occurrence.
Subtle and safe design
As speed pedelec bicycles fall under the same regulations as mopeds, wearing a helmet is mandatory. Fortunately, this does not mean that you have to get on your electric two-wheeler wearing a large moped helmet; as the Abus Purl-Y meets the requirements of the NTA rating, this helmet is approved for use on bicycles with pedal assistance up to 45 kilometres per hour.
The helmet includes a small flap on the front for light protection from rainwater and sunlight. Adjusting the helmet to your ideal fit is easy with the smooth-running wheel. A clip-on light for increased visibility is optionally available.
